Children 6-12 years old may participate in the Junior Ranger Program. The activity book may be downloaded from the Junior Ranger page of this website. Upon completion, the Junior Ranger receives a badge and certificate.

The Lady Bug Hunt is a non-collecting scavenger hunt of park features for younger children to look for during their park visit. Upon completion, the children receive a lady bug button and a certificate.

Short ranger programs are offered twice each day, more often if staffing permits, from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Rangers are available on trails and in the visitor center to answer questions.
